Three generations of exterior expertise, rooted right here

Littlefield Siding is a family business. Tom Littlefield learned the trade from his father, and the company's combined experience spans more than 60 years of siding, roofing, window, and exterior work. We incorporated in 1986 and have operated from our Loves Park shop ever since.

When a South Beloit homeowner calls us, they get an actual local crew — not a 1-800 number that routes to a sales rep in another state. Our shop is on Riverside Blvd in Loves Park, about 25 minutes south on Route 51. We've worked in South Beloit and the stateline corridor for years and know the weather and housing challenges this area faces.

Why Choose Us

Why South Beloit homeowners choose Littlefield

🏘️

We know South Beloit housing stock

South Beloit has an established character — solid mid-20th century homes throughout the residential streets, many with original aluminum siding, aging roofs, and windows that have never been updated. We know this housing profile and what these homes need.

South Beloit is in Winnebago County, IL. We pull permits through the City of South Beloit building department and Winnebago County for unincorporated properties.

⛈️

We understand South Beloit weather

37 inches of annual snowfall — among the highest in the region due to South Beloit's position at the Illinois-Wisconsin border. Storm cells crossing from Wisconsin often hit this corridor before reaching the rest of the Rockford metro.

📋

We handle the insurance paperwork

Filing a storm damage claim is usually more stressful than the damage itself. We walk South Beloit homeowners through the full process — from inspection through adjuster documentation through supplementing short estimates.

Common Questions

Frequently asked by South Beloit homeowners

Yes, most exterior replacement work in South Beloit requires a permit through the City of South Beloit building department. We pull all required permits on your behalf as part of the job. If your property falls within the unincorporated areas near South Beloit, the permit process may differ slightly — we handle both.

Most full roof replacements take 1–2 days. Full siding replacements generally take 3–5 days depending on home size and siding type. We plan the schedule around your availability and the weather forecast — we don't start a job we can't finish cleanly.

We install year-round, but the best window for most projects is April through October. Winter installations are possible but weather-dependent. Storm damage repairs happen whenever they're needed, regardless of season.

Yes. We provide the inspection documentation, photographs, and scope of work that adjusters need, and we'll meet with the adjuster on-site when it helps. If an initial claim comes back short, we'll help you supplement. We never pressure a homeowner to file a claim that isn't warranted.

For roofing we work with GAF and Owens Corning systems. For siding and windows we'll walk you through current options during your free estimate. We only install products we stand behind and will tell you honestly what's right for your home and budget.

Yes — South Beloit is within our regular service area. Being near the Wisconsin border doesn't affect our service.
